Fenix FD41 This 2-in-1 flashlight has the capability of a spotlight mode along with a floodlight with the 360-degree rotary focusing function. The FD41 features a floodlight with a wide beam of 81 degrees and a spotlight that has a beam throw of over 1,115 feet (340 meters). The FD41 is fitted with an optical lens with a total reflective coating. Revolving the focusing ring moves the head and the optical lens forward and backward from the LED, thus regulating the focus between spotlight and floodlight. It delivers a max output of 900 lumens. The tail switch plus side switch, compatibility with 18650 Li-ion as well as the cold-resistant CR123A batteries, makes the FD41 stand out when searching, camping and photographing outdoors.

    Well-built

Very solid and durable flashlight. The focusing option is what sold me on it. Good quality beam with even coverage. Hard to find waterproof and dust-proof flashlights with the focusing option. Note: The 900 lumen output is only with the 3500mah battery not what comes with the light. I've had it for over a year and would reccomend it.

This thing is amazing. It's the best flashlight I've ever owned. It can zoom in to light up something that is a few hundred yards down the road, or it can zoom out and light up an entire campsite. It's very rugged and built to last. I haven't submerged it yet, but it's been dropped several times with no ill effect at all, not even a scratch. The various output levels are well chosen, allowing you to use just enough light for a task and preserving battery life. The only negative I can find is that the focus ring is a bit stiff. I can adjust it with one hand but it's a bit of a struggle. It does seem to be loosening up a bit with repeated use, so I suspect it'll break in over time. It's also not that inconvenient to have to use 2 hands to adjust it, so as far as negatives go it's a very minor one. I would definitely recommend this light to anyone needing a versatile and rugged flashlight that should last a lifetime.
