This thing is amazing. It's the best flashlight I've ever owned. It can zoom in to light up something that is a few hundred yards down the road, or it can zoom out and light up an entire campsite. It's very rugged and built to last. I haven't submerged it yet, but it's been dropped several times with no ill effect at all, not even a scratch. The various output levels are well chosen, allowing you to use just enough light for a task and preserving battery life. The only negative I can find is that the focus ring is a bit stiff. I can adjust it with one hand but it's a bit of a struggle. It does seem to be loosening up a bit with repeated use, so I suspect it'll break in over time. It's also not that inconvenient to have to use 2 hands to adjust it, so as far as negatives go it's a very minor one. I would definitely recommend this light to anyone needing a versatile and rugged flashlight that should last a lifetime.
